After so many years of writing about Utah State athletics, whether it be for The Refraction, The Bull Sheet, The Utah Statesman, The Deseret News, Utah State University athletic media relations or general terrorizing of message boards all over the internet, there had to be somewhere "That guy on the front row" could go to still write about USU athletics after making the tragic mistake of graduation. That place is now The Sagebrush Spot.
What kind of true-blooded Aggie from Utah could say in their right mind that they don't love The Sagebrush Spot? I don't know, and I don't want to know. What I do know is that there are a lot of rumors that fly around both Logan and the internet about Utah State athletics. There's also a lot of analysis to be had and educated opinions to be shared. All things USU, you can find at The Sagebrush Spot, told in the same voice from "that guy" who has been telling it for a long time now... In other words, it's great to be back.
You might come across some harsh takes here, maybe even a bad word or two once in a while and possibly stuff you would disagree with. After all, these are just one man's takes and opinions on matters. You might also come across plenty of things and reference to things I love. Historical comparisons, jokes relating to pop culture, and Remember The Titans references will be abundant on this site.
I hope you enjoy it. And if you don't, I hope you have the balls to speak up and tell me you think I'm an asshole. But at that point if you don't like the site, the value I place on your opinion will already have bottomed out.
