And if you're wondering, Deonte Burton shot 1-6, and only scored 5 points in a blowout loss... Pane FTW |
Here's some looks back at what was...
- Tony Jones tweets that Mitch Bruneel is going to take Steven Thornton's starting spot this weekend. Kinda think this is going to be interesting to follow all year. Both have shown tremendous flashes.
- The last time the WAC was dishing out awards for production on the court, he was named the WAC Tournament MVP... Now that we're back, Brockeith Pane picked up where he left off, winning the first WAC Player of the Week award of the 2011-12
- Meredith Kinney runs down USU hockey's most recent blowout, while BYU throws down major spin coverage in their paper's interpretation of the 9-3 Aggie win.
- Gordon Monson pretends to talk about how bad BYU's point guards were Friday, but really just tries to continue the love fest with that Fredette guy. No mention of how well USU replaced the production of their own graduated superstars
UPDATE!!! - A few that I missed, or just forgot earlier
- Kurt Kragthorpe has the counterattack to Monson's story with is own bit about USU's superstar point guard.
- Three votes in the AP Top 25 poll!
Again, if there were links I missed, throw them down in the comments.
